Description

I've been working on this on and off for a few weeks now, and I've finally finished it - or at least got it to a point where I felt comfortable with uploading it.

The sketch for this was completed in '08 but I never got around to finishing it: I didn't have a large enough scanner for it (it was on 11 x 14 paper). There are some small issues with it, and possibly once I get those worked out I intend to upload this as a print. :)

As soon as I saw this thumbnail it was "click" to fullsize. This is a gordeous piece, simple but beautiful!

Loves:
I love how the unicorn has anime "type" eyes and the way her hair flow is absolutely beautiful. Another beautiful aspect is how the unicorn is the focal point, bye adding a glowing/blurred affect, it makes her shine, but it is also toned and not too..."wabam! and outa place". meaning she totaly suits the background. Another great aspect is the moon in the background, it ties the unicorn in very well. Shading is amazing and very detailed in the body, background, and the hair.

A couple things that could be done even better would be adding a little more glow to the grass beside the unicorn. And the legs are a little bit long for the body with a slightly awkward position. I'm also having a hard time with the split hoof, but again its fantasy!
